Community Prayer Meeting - First-Fruits Gathering
Jul 27th, 2008 by warren peaslee
For five months now, Steve Suggs has been leading a cross-denominational Knoxville Meeting for worship, prayer, and proclamation. It has been meeting once a month at various churches throughout the area (June was at Fellowship.) Here is a quote from the mailer:
Come join us this month as we focus on returning to our loving, heavenly Father. The following prayer points will help prepare you for participation in the next FIRST-FRUITS GATHERING:
-
- pray that you will understand the will and desire of our Heavenly Father;
-
- pray that you will grow in the ability “to hear and integrate truth” into your life, and
-
- pray for a restoration of relationships with God and with man.
The next gathering will be held at Berean Bible Church on Saturday, August 9th from 7PM to 9PM.
Directions:
Address: 2329 Prosser Road (522-2374) in East Knoxville
Go out Magnolia Avenue just past the Chilhowee Fairgrounds. Turn left on Prosser Road,; the church will be found in approx 1 mile on the left.
Personally, I will testify that I was blessed to participate while it was held at Fellowship, and am eager to join with my brothers and sisters in Christ to praise Our Triune God.
