“BECOMING A CONTAGIOUS CHRISTIAN”
Feb 14th, 2008 by Juanita Smith
All of us have family members, friends, fellow workers, or others we know who don’t yet know Christ. We know that Christ has called us, as his disciples, to be witnesses for him to those around us, but most (if not all) of us probably feel unequipped to do this. Beginning on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm, February 21st, in Room 602, we will begin a new series designed to better equip each of us to share the Gospel in a natural way with those around us. This eight-week course is called “Becoming a Contagious Christian.” It utilizes video clips by Bill Hybels, pastor of Willow Creek Community Church, and a Participant’s Guide (which will be available for purchase at the meetings for $1.00). In this course, together we will learn about:
- God’s heart for the lost,
- The different styles of evangelism,
- How to build relationships with unbelievers,
- How to tell our story (prepare our personal testimony),
- How to present the Gospel,
- How to lead a person across the line of faith,
- How to practice the steps of relational evangelism, and
- How to respond to common objections.
Come and join us for this important study on how to become more effective disciple-makers for Christ by introducing others to Christ.
